Community Engagement Event – 26th February 2012
8th February 2012
By the time we hold the above event, we hope to have signed the lease for the land on which the new Aviemore Sports Centre and Ice Rink will be built. Exciting times!
As a community we now have the opportunity to input our thoughts and wishes for the type of centre we want. On 26th February we invite everyone to come along to the Peregrine Suite at MAHR and have their say on how they want their new centre to look and feel and the types of activity you hope will be catered for in the Centre.
This will be a fun event. Bring along the kids: their input is welcome too.
The day will be guided by a team from The Glasshouse which is a national charity working to help people make better buildings, spaces, homes and neighbourhoods. They believe in the power of community led design to transform places and bring positive and lasting change to local people. In addition, the Board of Aviemore Sports Centre will be on hand to answer your questions and encourage participation.
Why not pop in anytime between 1- 8pm. We’d love to see you, hear what you think and help you to make a real contribution to moving this exciting and vital project forward.
See you on the 26th!

Welcome to two more new directors Morgane Artacho and Melissa Wall.
